The second General meeting of the first screw Pump Committee of China General Machinery Industry Association was held in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province from November 8 to 10, 2018. Xie Gang, Secretary General of Pump Branch of China General Machinery Industry Association, Li Shubin, Deputy Secretary general and chief engineer, Sun Baoshou, Secretary General of Ningbo Mechanical Engineering Society, Shu Xuedao, dean of School of Mechanical Engineering of Ningbo University, leaders and representatives of the member units of screw pump Professional Committee in total 52 people attended the meeting.
Professor Sun Baoshou, Secretary General of Ningbo Mechanical Engineering Society, delivered a speech, and Xie Gang, Secretary General of Pump Branch of China-Nantong Association, delivered an important speech. Hu Gang, director of the screw pump Special Committee and general manager of Tianjin Pump Machinery Group Co., LTD., made the Work Report of the screw pump Professional Committee, which summarized the main work in the past year, analyzed the economic development of the screw pump industry, and explained the work plan in 2019. The screw pump special committee Secretary General Wang Zhanmin first introduced the new unit.

Professor Liu Zhijie from Dalian Maritime University made a special report on Fatigue failure Mechanism and Reliability Optimization Design of screw pump.
Chen Jie, a researcher of Ningbo Branch of China Ordnance Science Research Institute, made a special report on the application of tungsten carbide hardness coating in the strengthening and repairing of screw surface.
Professor Yan Di of Chongqing University gave a special report on Research and Application of Key Technologies of screw Pump Products. Professor Shi Zhijun of Harbin Engineering University made a special report on the Flow Field Pressure Analysis of three-screw Pump.
Professor Peng Wenfei of Ningbo University made a special report on rolling molding technology of screw shaft parts.
The representatives who attended the meeting reflected that the content of the meeting was rich year by year and provided constructive suggestions for the development of member units.
